Ok, I wouldnt be seen bumping Kesha around town, but this Cobus remake gets my head bobbing every time. What do you think?

Edit: If yo have never heard of Cobus, check out his youtube channel.  Pretty entertaining drummer.

Hallelujah, prefer the Shrek version (Rufus Wainright) to Jeff Buckly or Leonard Cohen.

Smells Like Teen Spirit, Tori Amos's version is awesome compared to Nirvana's.

Mad World remake. The Tears for Fears version was lame, but I like the Gary Jules version.

I'll take crap for this but I think that Tool's cover of No Quarter is better than Zep's.

GOOD one. The TfF version is overproduced crap but the lyrics are powerful. The cello in the version above is just creepy.

I'm old enough to remember when the original version of "Wild Thing" (by The Troggs) was new on the radio, which would have been around 1966.  But I have always preferred the version by the band "X", which was done I think in the 1980s.  And yes, I am also familiar with the Hendrix version from the Monterey festival (in my opinion, the second best version).  Of course, nobody else on this board is old enough to give a shit.

I like Sam Kinison's version.

Because covers can completely change a song.
