56 brave men went to rescue some POWs just outside Hanoi.

Operation Ivory Coast. God bless those men who volunteered to rescue their brothers in what could easily have been a one-way mission.

I remember awhile back that John Milius has wanted to do one.
He actually did a pretty good History Channel documentary about it a couple of years ago.

Given the very pro-special forces sentiment in America at the moment, something like this would probably do very well commerically. The hard part would be keeping the Hollywood types from turning it into yet another anti-war screed protest film.
