Well, you may have seen some of the "weird" poems that I posted a while back in General Discussion.

But...

I do have quite a soft side though, so I thought I would share some of my other poems with you here. (feel free to comment, or give me the boot [;)])



[b]Still Loving You[/b]
 
To a friend for whom my love will never end
Time will come, time will go
Hundreds, nay, thousands of people
You and I will get to know

And if I can survive long enough
To see this life through
I know I shall never meet anyone else
So special or wonderful as you.
 
I lay awake and drink the night
For sleep is denied, as is light,
And I plead and I wish,
As I hope and I pray
But disappointment shall come, with the first light of day.

For when I wake, I will despair,
Because in my dreams, you were there.
And I will go on through ought the day,
With a heavy heart…
Knowing... that it will end the same way
 
And if life leads me to find love in the arms of another,
Than please my love, blame not me, but fate
For I have done all that one man can do.
But please believe that a part of my heart will always, always belong to you.
