What's the deal with the polls?

I can't seem to find any with Kerry in the lead now. The 3rd debate was a clear win for Kerry, yet the movement in the polls since that time has gone towards Bush? Is their a whisper campaign going on? Simply bad data? Could it possibly be the Mary Cheney non story? Most of the polls show Kerry doing better in the swing states and with independent voters, but still show him down between 1-3 points...very strange.

We need to get the message out that John Kerry was 3-0 in the debates, it concerns me that the polls don't show a lead as of today. The Republicans are always better with advertisements, and we're always better on the issues. We don't have another opportunity to get the issues out to the American people, so playing catchup at this point would be very difficult.

I got banned there for saying Kerry wasn't going to win.

The truth is not very popular with Dems.

The polls in 2000 said Bush would win the popular vote but lose the electoral vote.

No, your candidate just manages to agree with both sides of every issue.

No. That's PRECISELY what the last polls were predicting in 2000.

No joke. It turned out completely backwards....

We need to get the message out that John Kerry was 3-0 in the debates...

As if simply "winning the debatess" is enough to win the election. Note to liberals: This is NOT a high school debating class! The Democrats refuse to recognize the fact that, at his core, Kerry is simply a bad candidate for the presidency. He is a liar. He is a false hero, he is a socialist, he is an internationalist and anti-American, he is a tax & spend far-left liberal, with whom only a small minority of the country really identifies.

One of the main reasons Kerry continues to do relatively well is because he has the greatest propaganda machine since that of Dr. Joseph Geobbels propping him up. The other reason is that so many Democrats still feel they wuz robbed in 2000 and they want payback.

If the press was even 1/4 more balanced than they currently are, it's Bush by a Reaganesque landslide.

Kerry is a good bullshitter. Bush don't blather too good...but he is the Sheriff in the white hat. Most people not on the far looney left see that now, and that is going to hurt Monsieur Kerry on voting day.

A real problem is that most Kerry supporters think that all three debates were a clear win for Kerry and that's just not reality.

Kerry barely took#1
Bush Romped in #2 & #3
Cheney beat Edwards handily in the VP debate.

That is THEIR problem... not our's... they aren't going to vote Bush... they call him chimp, they think he is stupid and the believe he has no chance. Fine by me, keep thinking that way fools and make huge errors like the Mary Cheney incident and then scream from the rooftops if the Cheney's are upset its because they are ashamed of her and bigoted... that fires us up, and pisses off undecideds.

You're right, I was speaking in direct reference to the inital post where in they think that Kerry clearly won the third debate and that's just not reality. Of course a vaste amount of them aren't based in reality anyway, so the show fits well.
