Took a trip down the road to the Tennessee Aquarium over the Labor Day weekend. I hadn't visited since they opened the "Ocean Journey" saltwater section, which has the "Penguins Rock" exhibit. Hope y'all enjoy the pics, even though they were taken with my cell phone.
The first exhibit in Ocean Journey is a butterfly garden with these birds running around...  A guy behind me said "Quick, give me your phone and I'll take a pic of the butterfly on the back of your head!  This is a freshwater stingray...  My older son and his S.O. at Penguins Rock...  A ten foot Sand Tiger...  My younger son in front of a rapidly turning shark...    Moon Jellyfish...  From the Seahorses - Beyond Imagination exhibit...   A Sea Dragon...  From Ocean Journey over to River Journey next door... The Trout Pool made my wife hungry...   Alligator Gar and Longnose Gar...  Red Bellied Piranha in the Amazon exhibit...  And Rainforest treefrogs...   A couple of gators chillin' in the Delta exhibit...  A Wood Duck in Delta...  A 55 pound Blue Cat in the Nickajack Lake exhibit...  His buddy, the Lake Sturgeon...  Another shot of the Nickajack Lake exhibit...  Hope y'all enjoyed it! See ya later!

That aquarium was one of the best I've been to. The way they did the exhibits is beyond cool. With birds and stuff just hanging out with everything else. Great place.
