That kind of makes me feel strangely warm and tingly on the inside.

Why don't they like Dean?  Is it just because of the gun control issue?

Nope

Well that is not the only reason.

They think he is too conservative, they call him 'Republican Lite', same as Lieberman.

They dont support anyone who isnt a card carrying Socialist.

I think they dislike him because he cant win, might divert support from the favored candidates of the slimy DU's making personal attacks.

The big split at DU seems to be between the leftist ideologues for Kuchnich and the pragmatic politicos...who aren't.  The obvious candidate is going to be Kerry, buthe doesn't inflame their emotions enough.

Semi- OT In the first debate I thought that liberman was not incredibly disgusting. He even described the 2nd as a individual right as opposed to collective (though he still believed in resonable crap)...

They hate Lieberman.  He supprted the war (unforgivable) and is pro-Israel (bad, but not as bad as going along with the war).

The VP debate in the 2000 election was fantastic. The Veep candidates were much more civl and appealling than the President candidates.
