Why is it that every time the gun-banners don their warpaint and go on the warpath, some random nutcase seems to go on a shooting every other day?

I've been watching this cycle repeat for the last decade... What the fuck?

I don't want to sound like a tinfoiler, but it's really starting to freak me out...

I have wondered.

It may be the fact, that the news is focused on it so much more, and in years past it didn't get as much coverage.

These things have ALWAYS occurred.
Only recently has EVERY isolated incident become international news.
Why? Because they can, and people watch.
Do you think even 15 years ago, a single missing teenage girl from Alabama on a senior trip to Kokomo would have become a National story that captivated the entire country for weeks?
