Well, with all of this anti-gun rhetoric, I think I'm going to get a new firearm. It's been about 9 months since I've bought a new one. What do you think S&W 629 or HK tactical in 45?

Tomorrow I take my brand new, found for a decent price Savage American Classic 114 in 30.06, fitted with a Burris Fullfield II 4-14.5X42 scope to the range for the first time.  I bought it last Friday.

I also plan on buying a few more guns in the next month, mostly because I need them to fill holes in my collection and help better pursue silhouette shooting.

I just bought a motorcycle so I dont think so unless I make bank off my next speculation.

I may buy a Jeep instead...

If I can afford to get both I will...

Maybe I'll say screw the Jeep and get a BMG instead!

Yeah, I just invested a major chunk of change in a Piper, so I wont be going on any mass buying sprees within the near future, but I'm really thinking about either an HK tactical, or the 629 for a "just because the anti's want to spout their toxic rhetoric" gun.

eta: wow, I'm tired. I haven't written a run-on sentence that long in a while.

Damn these Deployments...I can't buy anything while overseas. I am putting together a shopping list for the wife.

I'm really just looking to pick up some things I've been putting off buying. I've had my shopping list put together but with all the noise going on it's easier to convince the wife that we need to speed things up.

I would but I just picked up a couple of AK's last week.

Maybe next month...

Ain't this some sad fucking shit.  Buy em while you still can boys and girls.  By my figures I'm still short some seven grand to get my little arsenal complete.  If the clouds start looking real bad over the horizon I'll take out a second mortgage.

I sold my last AR to buy something else and never replaced it.

I just bought 14,040 rounds of 5.45X39mm ammo, a Polish TANTAL kit, 11 mags, and a receiver flat. Unless I can find a buyer for my M1A and a couple of other firearms, I am done buying gun stuff.
Now I am going after other preps such as a generator, canning equipment etc.

WOOHOO! Post 1776 and I am discussing gun stuff. Cool

Why would you do something like that?   If they ban a certin gun it's illegal ,meaning you can't own it!  You have to give it up!

I suspect that most of us already have more than we will ever really need.

IMHO, it would be a wiser investment to purchase Level III body armor or quality NVD's before getting that 2nd/3rd/4th MBR.

.....but perhaps I spend too much time in the survival forum.

I decided tuesday was as good a time as any to buy a 12 gauge side by side. I ended up finding a great deal on a remington SPR210 ($375 and change after taxes and fees).

It has no adornment or decoration whatsoever....I'm thinking about getting 'Boomstick' engraved in lovely scrolling letters on the bottom of the receiver
