What? Are we at that point in the season already? I know it's October, but I haven't heard hype about the playoffs yet. Shows you how I keep up with baseball. They lost me after the 1974(?) strike.

Cards in 5 vs. the Yankees.

Destiny.

Last season in the old Busch Stadium.  Revenge last year's humiliation.  Best 1-8 in baseball and a potential Cy Young Award winner to boot.

I think it will be Cards v. White Sox  (I want it to be Cards v. Yankees)
4 games (maybe 5)

The white sox will take la in ALCS. The Yankees sucked today.

I take that back. I think it will be 7 games and the Yankees take it (v. sox in ALCS).
Then the Cards take them in 4 or 5.

Smug Yankees fans!!! Actually prior to being an Agels Fan here... I was a NY Mets fan during the 86 Mets world series... Remember Billlllllllll Bucknerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr??

Anyway ESPN Radio was all over how smug NY Yankee fans were... I just had to laugh. an aqaintance of mine is a Yankee fan and you should hear this butthead... we always tear into each other.

I DO have to say one thing... When the Angels beat the Yankees back in 2002 I have to hand it to Jeter and Torre when they were asked by reporters "Where did you guys mess up?" They said (and I am paraphrasing) "We didnt mess up. they just played better"

Now THAT is class my friends.

Yankee is tanking fast.  My guess is Angels vs. Cardinals.

This may be the first religious-themed World Series ever!

If the Angels go against the Cardinals... that would be a dilemna in the Molina household... Bengie and Jose Molina are the two catchers from the Angels and Yadier Molina is their younger brother and catches for the Cardinals.
