Where will the flashpoint be? Which cities will follow in what order? How long will it take the government to crackdown hard? I don't see 3 nights of riots before a serious response like I read about in Britain.

It isn't economics or poverty.
It is "gimmie dat" pure and simple. These people have more than residents of other first world countries have. My vote is a seaside town seattle I don't know why. Yes I do. High concentration of middle-class, weak, emasculated and caponized whites living in immediate area. This would never work in a segregated city. It has to be a city where the poor don't realize how damn good they have it. I call off on detroit and other cities that already burned out in prior decades. There are patterns to be learned here for those that have the eyes to see it. The vibrancy is what is the target. |

Quoted: Illinois, California, and New York. Don't see it happening in NYC at all. |

I can see Chicago and Milwaukee being proactive and getting a start on the rioting early.
Which reminds me, I need to discuss riot-response plans with my friends. We need to have BOLs and supplies organized. |

Coastal LA, CA will be first and FUCKED UP....I'm talking to you Santa Monica, Venice and Marina Del Ray.....Surrounded by shit hole welfare/illegal nieghborhoods and filled with lilly white pussy liberals. No loss.

If it happens in the South, it won't be a major city. It'll be some second tier hole. I'll bet on Florence, SC. Fayettenam has potential, but it's too close to the 82nd.

LA
Huge gang population + FSA base of operations / "High concentration of middle-class, weak, emasculated and caponized whites living in immediate area" = mayhem |
|
Quoted: Quoted: Illinois, California, and New York. Don't see it happening in NYC at all. Really, a lot of people on welfare there, no one is armed, not enough police, it seems like a perfect spot. |

Quoted:
Philly. I'll go with this, but add one thing. It may start in Philly, but will quickly spread to Camden. |
|
Explain why Philly?
What am I not seeing? I was thinking Detroit or Chitcago. |

Quoted: LA Huge gang population + FSA base of operations / "High concentration of middle-class, weak, emasculated and caponized whites living in immediate area" = mayhem Yep, just like I wrote in my original post LA, and any city in Illinois and New York. Pretty much anywhere that there is gangs and the rate of citizen reprisal in crime rates is low which is pretty much everywhere with shitty gun laws. The dirt bags know they can get away with it so why not. |

you would be amazed at what goes on in Chicago already that you never hear about on the news.
Soon as Illinois slips fully into bankruptcy, you'll see the fires. The flash mobs are already there. They are just smaller groups of 20-30 and not even enough cops to contain that. |

Chicago or East St.Louis And us folks that live in the sticks will make damned sure that it stays in those areas. They bring that shit to our door they'll have problems. A flash mob wouldn't have a chance out here. |

Quoted:
Memphis. This. All it would take is for the govt checks to be 3 days late or maybe this school consolidation will cause it. Almost saw a mini-riot last week at the Exxon Station at Getwell and Shelby because someone got the last cold drink that someone else wanted. |
|
Quoted: Quoted: Illinois, California, and New York. Don't see it happening in NYC at all. It could happen in The Bronx and some of the suburbs like Mount Vernon and Yonkers and it could spread out from there to more well to do areas. Based on what I would consider smaller disturbances/riots caused by "urban youths" in Mount Vernon I doubt the ability of the cops in westchester county to be able to handle anything major. |

Atlanta seems like a good canidate. Not a chance. Atlanta is not what it used to be. People there are pretty good to each other. The races get along just fine. Not to mention, everyone is armed and watching The Walking Dead. |

Britain's riots are because of a police shooting. NOT because of the economy. Though, I reckon that it has some part in this, but it wasn't economics that kicked off this riot.

My guess is a city in a red state. Blue states will do everything possible to keep the welfare checks going...

I'm kind of hoping for LA (full disclosure, I don't live there) but I do remember years past when it did burn (not racist here but for the most part, the burning was in the 'colored' areas - take that for whatever comes to mind). San Francisco needs to be burned (IMHO) but close to where I live now, El Paso should be pretty high on the list (extream poverty with a HUGE welfare population and accompaning gang population) - place needs to be cleaned up a bit.
Jeez - sad to say we are talking about this at this point. |

I'll say Philly, than like wildfire it'll jump the river to Camden/Trenton/Newark...
