I'm simple and don't have to get anything. A card is nice but anything more and.. well I hate getting gifts. I have no idea why.
I love giving them out though.

I guess if I have to choose though, I just want to see the g/f smile and we are happy together. That's the best holiday

Anyone who knows me well enough to give me a present already knows what I want. Same as every year.  .223 FMJ

+1

I keep telling my parents that the money I use for college is more than enough gift - plus, I personally feel it's bullshit to be given what are seen as "mandatory" gifts once you have a job and can make do on your own. My summer and part-time work pays for my hobbies (and the college expenses not covered by my parents), so I don't need people feeling obligated to give me gifts, especially things which I may or may not really want (or even have a use for).

I'm skipping what I would want for my birthday this year and my parents give me the option of doing that so I can ''double up'' on my Christmas present(s).

I'm asking for them to pay for half of a Remington 870 P MAX. ($400) and I'll pick up the rest, about $450-$500 shipped.

I'm also going to get my mom a little airweight S&W .38 for her nightstand,  and give my father and brother an SKS.

I'd like Wolf 7.62x39 at $80/1K again.
Some .223 for that price would be swell, too.

Just once...  Just fucking ONCE I'd like a happy Christmas.

This year, that would mean my leg healed, a job I can do, and my family back.

But ain't any of those things going to happen, so I'll take a beer and a stiff drink and just try and stay out of trouble.  Given that, I hope my kids have a GREAT Christmas even though I won't be there.

A Swarovski scope for the Sako 75 I just finished paying off.

A Sig Sauer P220-carry for my CCL when I turn 21 next August.

I probably just end up getting a couple of sweaters.

It will be here in January. Late Christmas gift, but I take it. It's been a long wait.
