I think trump has made everyone with a FB or twitter want to troll the fuck outta people

Public shaming needs to be a thing again in a big way. Good for them and to hell with that mayor.

There is nothing wrong with how the PD responded. What is wrong, besides the pycho woman, is the pussified political correct mayor

Lulz, grammar error in a post complaining about someone's bad grammar.
Inception grammar nazi'ing. P.S I'm completely cool with the popo calling her out. |

Unfortunately someone will get their pee pee slapped for that.

Dear Ashley,
We have conducted a thorough investigation of this matter and interviewed all know pertinent witnesses. We find nothing wrong here... Sincerely, |

Needs to happen more often, people need to be called out for their stupidity.
Someone will get a nastygram from another someone who has their balls removed and wears gold. |

Vote them all out that can't allow free speech or comment.
Kudo's to the PD! |
|
Honestly that was terribly written and was less than professional no matter how rewarding it must have felt to respond.

I remember when government agencies were professional.
Now everyone is all "lol we be trolling hahahaha". And whether this is OK is 100% dependent on which 'side' you're on. Yeah, not sure we're on a good path with all this regardless of the lulz, kek, or teehee's. |

Chief Weems and Sheriff Berry can get pretty blistering at some times. https://www.facebook.com/oconeesheriff/ From their welcome post about when to call 911 instead of posting to the page: Examples of things that need immediate attention are:
Things on fire that shouldn't be on fire People impaled with things which they would rather not be impaled Livestock running loose in the roadway People running lose in the roadway Generally anything in the roadway that shouldn't be there Significant traffic hazards People running off with things that don't belong to them Crimes in progress Medical Emergencies ?Anything that makes you go, "Somebody should do something about that quickly." The above is not an exhaustive list. It is examples. Call an actual live person to report things that need immediate attention. |

January 26 at 9:16am · If you just happen to find a bomb, an incendiary, a thermonuclear device, deadly chemicals, or anything of the sort, please DO NOT put it in your vehicle and drive around with it, and most importantly, don't bring it to the Sheriff's Office. Call us; we know a guy. He'll come to you. None of the above applies to ammo. You can bring ammo. View Quote |

January 6 · The panic continues. Publix is out of fresh fruit and vegetables. First off, my FOOD eats fresh fruit and vegetables. Second off, you won't get scurvy over the weekend. Third, every family should have a three day supply of bacon for just such emergencies. Y'all need to plan ahead. View Quote |

December 31, 2016 · Fireworks!! State law on fireworks supersedes the local noise ordinance. Fireworks are legal in Georgia. We can not, nor will we attempt, to stop people from legally exploding fireworks because you don't like it. We're in the legal/illegal business not the you don't like it business. For those of you who will be exploding fireworks, be considerate of your neighbors. If at 0700 tomorrow morning they decide to have a band concert complete with sugared up eight-year-olds playing kazoos, drums, and cymbals along the property line as close to your bedroom window as they can get, that would be perfectly legal too. Their response was equally lacking in (ironically) grammar and professionalism. You don't have freedom of speech when representing the government in an official capacity. Remember when the EPA was tweeting against Trump's directive and everyone here wanted them all shitcanned? Either this is or isn't ok, they don't get to pick and choose, and neither do we.
