Compared to buying a new factory built plane - yes, lots. The factory built plane (Cirrus SR20) would have two more seats, but would be slower, have a slower climb rate, use more fuel, have a lower service ceiling, and be non-aerobatic. Plus, this one has everything exactly how I want it instead of just choosing from a list of options.

I need to get around to actually putting hours into my plane so it doesn't just look like a pile of foam and rolls of fiberglass.
