--- my car with the new " W '04 " stickers I got from Sniper_Wolfe and gives me a BIG SMILE and THUMBS UP!
His Jeep Cherokee was sportin' "Bush-Cheney '04" stickers on it.

I'd driven by him in the middle lane and discovered that the driver was a few shades darker than this FunkyRedHeadedWhiteBoy

and thought I should show off my new oval stickers and see if he noticed.
By Golly, he sure did!
As he exited the freeway, we glanced back at each other and smiled and waved again.

Point being that I felt pretty good to see another Bush supporter on the road in "Liberal Land"...and that fellow wasn't of the 'stereotypical' shade of grey!
Bush said he wanted to be a "UNITER instead of DIVIDER". I guess it's working.
Later, while watching the RNC on TV, seeing Don King stand up for The President made me prouder still that 'W' is reaching across a lot of lines and gave me hope for the November election.

I got one of those pissing calvin decals on the back window of my truck pissing on "Democrats". I can't drive the 2 miles to work everyday without getting at least one thumbs up and a few other fingers as well.

This one black girl I knew back in College said that she hated Republicans and thought they were racist, but had no idea why. There might be just a wee bit of brainwashing there...

One of my good friends is as black as they come. She and I began talking politics two weeks ago and she SCREECHED when I told her I was for W. She was SO excited that she finally found someone on campus who ALSO wanted Bush.

Too bad the girl is from Nigeria and can't vote

I live in a county that is about 70 percent black and the general population seems to be 85 percent Dem. However, Kerry seems most popular with white liberal Dems and many of the black Dems are not as thrilled with him. I have to wonder if Bush will do a bit better in this county this year.

Wow, this thread wasn't what I expected either.

Little encounters like that are always nice. I get them too--both positive and negative. The ones who give me the finger get a kiss blown back in return. It seems to drive the hostile men just NUTS.

I have yet to see a regular black guy voting for Bush. They seem to tow the DNC line pretty well in my neck of the woods.

A very good friend of mine happens to be black. He is very succesful, has a big house, drives a nice car, believes in god, pro life, and beleives in our rights to keep and bare arms. However he is voting for Kerry this november. I can't talk him out of it, his only answer is, "democrats are the only voice blacks have in Washington".

BTW, The Libby doesnt have a "W" anything. I only have the big ass "Veterans for Bush" stickers (that are appearing everywhere

). I already have 3 stickers, its gettin kinda busy back there.

I sent away for some ovals from a kid to soon be named more than a week ago. He already got some postal cash, I still dont have ovals yet.

But...at a light last Friday(after a great dinner with a cutie), I pulled next to a Toyota minivan, with a Kerry sticker and a peace sign. I flashed her my Veterans for Bush sticker. She flipped me off with both hands.

I smiled and flashed her a peace sign, then changed to 4 fingers and mouthed "4 more", then back to the peace sign. I know her BP skyrocketed. It was a good day.

Busy intersection near me....

Now that, is a quality way to drive up his blood pressure and lower yours, good one BK1. I really must try that next time some idiot complains about my (reasaonbly good) driving.
