Great Pyrenees.

Had a GP/mutt wonder into our shop yard yesterday. She had matted hair, mud clumps, (were a dog in TX found mud I have no idea) and covered in burs. Very sweet dog. Fed her some beef jerky and water. She just kept hanging around. Well shit, I took her to the vet and got her cleaned up, shot up, tires rotated, ya know the full boat and took her home. That dog really likes to sleep. Not an active bone in that dogs body. I never seen a 7 month (vet estimate) pup that wasn't flying off the walls.

from what I know they are GREAT dogs and good guard dogs as well but prefer to work in teams. Get you another and you'll be fine.

As to activity, if the dog was in as bad a shape as you describe perhaps she needs some R&R and get back to fighting weight before getting more active.
