Arafat is a 'sacred cow' to the Palistinians. Any successive 'leader' will be no better or worse than any of the other Pali terrorist scum, and Israel will be free to eliminate undesirable 'successors' as needed without the implications of killing the great 'peace prize winning' uber-terrorist... Plus, without Arafat, the Palis will be too busy killing eachother to see who becomes the next Supreme Leader & Divine Master to bother anyone else for a while... Finally, a new leader won't have the standing with the euroweenies that Arafat does.... And since when is the world NOT a better place every time a major terrorist scumbag expres??? Dead Terrorist = allways a good thing... |

Palestine will de-evolve into a civil war...Israel will grow stronger as a result. The efforts in Palestine will cease to be organized as every fringe group strives for power.

To be honest, I don't care to predict what his death will do.
And to be honest, I think Hamas and the rest of the fucking terrorist bastards can go on without him. But I can tell you if Arafat does croak, I'll raise a glass to that.

Arafat is and has been (for the lasst 20 years) the biggest obstacle to peace in the middle east.
