M16 at 17 - Marines

AR at 33 in the early 90's when the LA riots got going. I lived in Milwaukee then as I was in medschool and the blacks in Milwaukee were talking a lot of trash about starting up shit, getting back at whitey, etc. So I bought a Colt blue label carbine. My first and the rest is history.

i was 15. had to work construction all summer to save for it. bought a used SP1 with a 20 and 30 rounder for 425 back in 1985. back then the only accessories were extra mags, spare parts, maybe a few red dots, and the old 3x20 Colt scope.things have come a long way for the Black Rifle.
