it has hyperthreading support, so it's better than non-hyperthreading when running threaded programs.

I don't keep up with intel stuff, but the 533 MHz bus sounds a little slow.

edit: or is that the speed of the RAM?

edit2: n/m I guess, 650MHz is the bus speed of the cpu? or is that 650 cache?

That was describing the RAM it seems, not the CPU: 1GB DDR2 SDRAM,533MHZ

that is the 600 line, has most of the bells and whistles that intell offers,

personally i would choose and athlon 64 bit in the 3500+ - 3700+ range

533mhz is the slow (short?) bus these days.  Why would a P-IV HT processor not have an 800mhz bus?
