The good news is that the hue and profile of my birch CMP shitty Garand stock matches my roommate's awesome WWII walnut. The bad news is that my hands are now stained and I may be on National Geographic tomorrow.

So how do I get this crap off?

I wasn't going to dye it tonight. I put a little blotch on the stock and it went everywhere. I quickly moved the materials outside and finished her off and got stained in the process.

I use one of those sticks with sandpaper intended for removing dead skin from your feet. Works great.

Who cares about your hands.

1) Where are pics of said rifle?
2) Why are you going to possibly be on NG tomorrow?

Ignore all the trolls.  Muriatic acid is the only way.

Serially, just let it wear off.  Until then, look out for INS so's you don't get deported.

Oh, and +1 for the pix.

I bought BLO tonight. Pics will be posted in a week.

I am going to a rifle match in 6 hours for Independence Day which will have National Geographic filming for a documentary on American gun culture. I am really hoping to be interviewed. I am well spoken and will be wearing a BFL t-shirt.

If you are interviewed, right in the middle of it, go all glassy eyed, hold up your hands and start yelling, "Blood! So much blood! Where did it all come from?"

If its the same dye they used on my Lazy Boy leather recliner, soap and water will take it right off with no problems

What brand is it?  I need a quality dye.
