 For me it is the original AR-180 ( SN# 077X) that owned for some time. When I bought it, it was in nearly mint condition. Accurate as all hell, smooth as silk and reliable to the core. Sold it to work on my Pony Collection and focus on current, usable weapons with little to no collector value. Damn, I miss that gun. Honestly, a TRUE AR-180 is the only .556 rifle I can think of that gives the AR-15 a run for it's money. |

I miss my HK-91. I sold it just after the AWB began. I bought it for $400 and sold it for $1000... thought I was getting a great deal.

I regret selling my Berretta 1201FP shotty. I can get another any time if I want though, and I likely will one of these days.

Strangely enough, my 5.45 Romanian w/ folder stock. I was so upset with the trigger slap that I sold it instead of fixing it.
I should go buy a new one while they are still allowing them in. |

That's a nice looking AR-180, desertmoon. My local gun store still has a used one in stock, I think. Overpriced, but in stock.
I had two MAK-90's and sold them around 1998-1999. I wish I had kept at least one of them...I could have 922r'd it. At least it's a rifle I can easily replace someday. Scott |

My Combat Commander it was the 1st handgun I bought. Sold along with all my guns when I was building my house .

in 1981 i bought a brand new beretta M92SB. through all the crap in life, i kept that gun. never jammed not once, and i probably had 50k+ down that barrel. beautiful bluing, walnut grips, early model with the lanyard hole set so the lanyard would interfere with mag changes, in a bianchi holster rig, M90 i think, that was a 'snap in'
they don't make the rig, and they don't make that pistol any longer, and have not for quite some time. stolen, and sold, i think, for a bag of pot. by the crippled son of my ex-girlfriend. along with a .357 mag. derringer. turned him in to the cops after he confessed to me. about a year later, i got the stainless steel derringer back, looked like they tried to buff out the serial #, so i know the beretta, if it's not cut up by now, is mangled.

Ruger p97 that I sold to a friend. Not that I regret selling it to a friend of mine, so he could have his first CCW, but I just miss the gun.

Too busy travelling to hunt, I sold my Winchester Model 70 in .270WIN back in 1998.
That thing shot one hole groups at 100yds and had a sweet Timney trigger. |

I guess I must have owned about 40 AR-180's over the years and missem ALL !! Miss my NIB AR-18 pretty bad too. MUST mention my feeling of loss re my old Israeli Sniper rifle Mauser 66SP.

My 350$ HK 91,,BUT the one I miss most is my first 165$ DCM Garand,,a almost nib all correct Inernation Harvester. |

winchester .22 that had to be manually cocked after cycling the bolt. first gun i ever owned.
had to sell it at mcbride's in austin back in '96. mr. mcbride himself told me "never tell your daddy you sold a gun. he'll kill both of us." |

Shiloh Sharps in 45-70. I have a Navy Arms copy that I shoot pretty often. The Shiloh just sat around looking pretty. Sold it for a ridiculous amount.

I still have my Sterling but sold my Howa and Costa Mesa that were pristine because I needed the $. Damn, I miss both of them. What was the one you have. BTW, the 180B is no slouch. |

I had an EARLY Costa Mesa.....God, it was so pretty and SMOOTH. Honestly, I think the AR180 had the potential to be one of the best 5.56s ever. Nothing pointed like it, it was smooth operating and low recoil........and it was so damned accurate. With only a bit more development it really could have been a serious American Rifle. Honestly, I am NOT a fan of the 180B...I think it was just a half assed attempt at making money, not at replicating one of the finest rifles ever made. I feel very much the same about the Robinson M96....a gun that was soooo close, yet soooo far away from being perfect. The guys who run these companies are such cheap fools. There is NEVER an excuse to go half way. Either do it right....or don't do it. Anyway, back to the 180, I hope that someday I can find a Howa or another pristine Costa Mesa. I really, seriously, love those guns. For all you guys who miss your "lost favorite" guns......I am with you..... . |

A 30-30 Canadian Centennial Commerative Winchester with an octagon barrel. It was stolen from our cabin.
I only ever found one other to buy, and it was too beat up. To show how old the rifle was, my Dad had bought it from Target. Anybody remember when Target & Sears sold guns? |

Wish I had kept the Walther PPK/s that I had years ago. It was dead nuts accurate, and I never had issues with reliability.
