I will admit to thinking that the price of AR-15s is excessive..........if they were cheaper I would have a whole lot more!

I don't them as that expensive. Lowers are fairly cheap, you won't see the $89 Bushy lowers anymore.
Parts aren't that pricey either. |

You only get gouged if you let youself get gouged.
There are way to many places selling AR's and parts to get gouged.
