Will all of the Ron Paul haters "hold their noses" and "vote Republican", like they say everyone else has to if a McRomney wins?

You might as well say, if Absolut wins the GOP nomination, will you vote for him?  Because it is just as likely.

Are you accusing Ron Paul haters of being people who would do the right thing for their country by voting for the lesser of two evils in order to get rid of Obama?

I think he makes a better congressman than he would a president, but yeah I'd vote for him if he got the nomination. I can't say the same about Romney or Gingrich.

I would vote for him, and hope that we got enough conservatives into congress that think like me to blunt some of his more wacky foreign policy ideas. On domestic stuff in most cases he is great, his belief that we do not need a forward deployed military to defend our interests is insane. Hell even most democrats have no problem with that, and most of them hate this country.

Oh yea, fuck barrack obama and the kenyan village he was born in.

I've voted for the lesser of two evils before. Just strikes me as too much enabling now. If the GOP wants my vote then they better fuckwell nominate a goddamned fucking conservative. I think too many candidates with an R in front of their name trust that the conservative voting block is rational and pragmatic enough to vote for a candidate that sits in the middle and begs for a reach around from the left.

I'm sick of voting for "Cruise control to Hell" because it's a lesser evil than "Full speed ahead!" Might as well just crash it into the ground and try to pick up the pieces.

I never thought so.  But it's funny to see how many politicians I've seen condemned on this website based purely on their anti-gun positions.  I'm just surprised it's not a bigger deal when speaking about Romney.

I cant stand Romney, but I'll vote for whatever is on the otherside of the ballot from Obama. It can be the proverbial herd of purple masturbating gerbils for all I care...

Right now, at this moment in time, this race is the Republican's to lose. Obama cant run on his accomplishments, because he hasnt done much well....

Got Bin Laden....yeah, using Bush Administration interrogation methods, and then still required 16 hours to think ahout what he was gonna do....dont get me started on the burial at sea debacle.
Healthcare....nuff said.
Economy....nuff said
Unemployment....nuff said
ATF Gunwalker....Nuff said
Libya, Syria, Yemen and whoever else he stumblefucks around into before the elections....nuff said

I could go on, but you get the gist and I'm very much preaching to the choir. Bottom line, this race is the Republican party's to lose. All they have to do is nominate either some polarizing lightning rod, (Palin for example. I like her and respect her, but she's a conservative Hillary Clinton....she'll never get elected because people HATE her), or some unrecognizable person, (Huntsman anyone?).

I dont like Romney, but if he wins the nomination, then I'll vote for him. Because the Country cant survive another 4 years with Obama at the helm.

I'd vote for daffy duck over the goddamned marxist we have now. The socialism shit has to stop. That beigins with booting the pinko in chief. If that means 4 years of RP, fine. If RP wins the nomination, I'm a RP fanatic. That goes for ANYone going up against comrad el presidente.

you bet your ass I would.  Freedom beats communism any day of the week and if he got on the GOP ticket he would be the only chance at defeating the commie.
If we will hold our noses for Romney why would you assume we would not hold our noses for Ron Paul? You seem to be under some misconception that there are a bunch of Romney supporters in here. There isn't. There is just a bunch of people who realize the simple truth that in todays america the only person that unseat Obama is whoever wins the GOP primary and  that there is a lot to lose if we don't get Obama out of there.
We are also aware that in reality the presidents only real power is veto .  Romney or paul would not likely veto any sort of balanced budget with cuts and no tax increases.  Obama will likely veto the shit out of that forcing us to keep on this fucked up economy destroying path. Also Romney or Paul would pick right minded scotus judges .  Obama would find judges that appear indifferent and moderate that he secretly knows will turn left once appointed and will hold budget and other important objectives hostage to get them appointed which will put the nail in the coffin in the future of our rights and federal power checks..

regardless of who gets the nomination, the real question is do you think the republic can survive with 4 more years of an Obama that doesn't have to worry about garnering votes?

Do you think we'll ever be the same after he nominates one or two more Kagans or Sotomayors to the bench?

Do you think we'll ever be able to reverse the firmly solidified entitlement and socialist shift in our government?

Do you think our economy will survive the regulation and destruction he wishes to enact on it?

Do you think you'll ever get your guns back?

There are elections where you can make a moral stand and split the vote to send a message.  This is not one of them.  It has to be anybody other than Obama.  We can reign in a RINO, we can control his more liberal ideas by letting him know that we voted against Obama and not for him.  Do you think Ryan and all the young blood will just go to sleep and let them do something not conservative?  They'll keep him in check because he's a Republican/  But we cannot keep this man in office. Period.

ETA:  and for those of you that wish we'd run full speed off the cliff, instead of gradually, what the fuck is wrong with you? Do you realize how terrible life will be if the system crashes?  It's not the Book of Eli and you're not Denzel Washington.  Your ar15 won't make you king.  Your life will suck and people will suffer.  We can fix gradual declines, we can turn things around.  If things come falling down, everything you know and love about your way of life and our Great Nation will be gone forever.  How is this more appealing to you than voting for a republican you don't like when you know if you keep the legislative pressure on, we can keep him in check.

when the democrat party is marginalized or split at a level where a third party conservative can win an election Ill stop voting R.  Until then I dedicate time and money in primaries to get the best R I can get on the ticket.

that's what I'm trying to say.  It doesn't matter who wins the Republican primary, but that is where we should strive to get whoever our guy is nominated.  But once it goes to general election, a vote for anybody but the republican, or a no vote at all, just serves to re-elect Obama
