Anyone else have this problem?  I see a deal on a magazine and have to buy it, even if I don't have the gun.  The 94 AW ban has me so paranoid I'm going to go out on the 13th and order up quite a few full capacity magazines for guns I might buy sometime in the future.

I have a few MP5 mags, and some HK PSG1 5 rounders, and I don't own either one (or a variant that can take them)... yet.

I have 1,000 rounds of Federal XM193 and 1,000 rounds of Winchester Q3131A for an AR I don't own.  And I have 1,000 rounds of Lake City XM1911 .45 en route to my house as we type, and I don't own a 1911.  Yet.  Does that count?

I bought 15 Type 57 mags (from Ammoman & Dan's) for an M1A/M14/Armalite AR10 that I'm not even close to buying...

I live in New York, our "Pataki Ban" doesn't sunset.  We have little choice here but to buy pre-'94 mags until the end of time.

I don't waist my hard earned money on stuff I can't use.  I waist enough money on stuff that fits guns I have but may never use.

AFAIK, I only have one mag for a gun I don't have... a 20 round Thompson mag.   I had a semi auto Thompson but sold it, and couldn't find the mag when I sold it.  Then I found it later.

I found myself thinking about buying full-capacity USP mags the other night, even though I don't own ANY HK firearms.

Shit, I own a .45 USP tac and I can't bring myself to spend $50+/each for new mags for it, full capacity or otherwise.

I have a small but growing collection of SAW boxes, links, starter tabs, bandoleers, etc. for a SAW I'll never own.

`Course, they'll work just fine with the Shrike, should they ever finally release it.

I bought a .22LR sound suppressor from my Class 3 dealer yesterday, and I don't even own a .22LR!

Now I'm going to have to buy a Walther P22 handgun and some sort of bolt-action rifle to swap it back and forth on. At least I've got time, as the approved paperwork will be months in arriving.

You know, it would really help if they just made these things all interchangable.  One 9/.357/10/.40/.45 mag for pistols, the same for subguns, one .308 mag for rifles, one 5.56 mag for assault rifles... et. al.

I'd still need forty of each, but it would cut down on the total number.
