Seriously, it's almost 60 degrees out and we are 6 days into January.  It has only snowed a total of an 1/2 inch of snow that only stuck around for about 30 min.  Where I live the average high should be 31 degrees and should have at least 10 inches of snow.

I'm almost a convince believer in Al Gore now.

No snow in Mammoth after several years of above normal levels.

Still have full reservoirs so, no worries, and good motorcycle trail access.

Back in December in NOVA were having high 50 degree days and near freezing at night.

NPS ranger at Fredericksburg told us that, interestingly enough, this was pretty much identical to the weather during the Battle of Fredericksburg.

Bring it, winter means snow.
Snow means I get to go play on it.
That means lots of fun and 2-stroke exhaust on my part.

Dec was the driest on record in Tahoe, but it did this last year too.

Then it raped us in the anus with snow until June.

It feels like spring.  I am sitting on my patio drinking a beer and smoking a cigar.  Normally this time of year I would be zombified from a month of clearing Lake Erie's dandruff off of my community.

Solar physicists say 2012 and 2013 will be warmer because of the solar activity, which will be dropping off sharply after 2013. It will get much colder after that.
The earths warming and cooling cycles are affected to a large degree by solar activity, the known Medieval warming period was an example of this occurring when solar activity was observed astronomers.

No, the whole human produced C02 is not the cause, that is pure horse hockey. A single bed of plankton dying off in the pacific ocean produces more C02 than we do in 100 years.

Our star (the sun) is the key. It can make or break our planet.

There is a reason the Sun was worshipped for most of human history.  How many Gods are based off of greenhouse gasses?

It was snowing and cold as balls last year, and similarly the year before, and the year before that it was warm and dry.  Nature is odd and doesn't conform.  Usually a warm start to January turns into a brutal February.

I never hear people in July screaming "global cooling" when it fails to hit 90.
