Seriously, it's almost 60 degrees out and we are 6 days into January. It has only snowed a total of an 1/2 inch of snow that only stuck around for about 30 min. Where I live the average high should be 31 degrees and should have at least 10 inches of snow.
I'm almost a convince believer in Al Gore now. |

Shut up, winter means snow
snow means I have to plow it that means work and effort on my part fuck winter I am enjoying the cool/cold temps though. |
Global Warming...........Climate Change.......Al Gore...............$$$$$$$$$$

No snow in Mammoth after several years of above normal levels.
Still have full reservoirs so, no worries, and good motorcycle trail access. |
It is 59 here and I am glad ! The freezing temps at the beginning of the week wasn't enjoyable at all.
I'm liking our warm weather too. But I'm admittedly a bit concerned about our lack of moisture. This definately ain't normal for these parts.

It was 20 fucking degrees here yesterday.
I had to wear long pants you maniacs! |

Back in December in NOVA were having high 50 degree days and near freezing at night. NPS ranger at Fredericksburg told us that, interestingly enough, this was pretty much identical to the weather during the Battle of Fredericksburg. |

It was 68F here yesterday, and now it is 35F...
Weather is a funny thing. |

I love not being cold, but damn... we need the rain down here. We are in for a world of hurt next summer.
This year we are top 10 warm, last year it was top 10 cold.
Just the way it works... |

73 here in hippie-town.
Actually, I'm hoping some snow hit Colorado soon as I'll be skiing in two weeks. |

Where is here mr usa as a location. Been averaging in the 40's in VA which is pretty much normal for this time of year.
45 degrees in NH right now, 47 tomorrow. I'm not complaining.
It feels like spring. I am sitting on my patio drinking a beer and smoking a cigar. Normally this time of year I would be zombified from a month of clearing Lake Erie's dandruff off of my community.

The earths warming and cooling cycles are affected to a large degree by solar activity, the known Medieval warming period was an example of this occurring when solar activity was observed astronomers. It was snowing and cold as balls last year, and similarly the year before, and the year before that it was warm and dry. Nature is odd and doesn't conform. Usually a warm start to January turns into a brutal February.
I never hear people in July screaming "global cooling" when it fails to hit 90.

I am planning on opening a year orund hockey rink in my back yard when it happens. You can buy your early tickets now. |
