I have 5stocks I am refinishing [3 M14s, one thompson and one Garand]along with one 1911 I am accurizing.
I can't believe how well the M1As and Garands are turning out tho it is slow going, using tung oil. The 1911 is coming along slow but sure also, and I am done getting the BBL locked up properly, and the trigger is a nice 4 lbs, just about where I personally like it. |

I've got this G3 kit\reciever that has been floating around my desk for 3 years now with the intention of sending it in to have it built.
Hasn't happened yet. |

Polytech M14 I'm having accurized a step at a time. Just got a TRW bolt in it for $35. HaHa!

Not me doing the work, but I have a Colt Series 80 1911 that I'm having my uncle (the family gunsmith) install Ed Brown hardcore parts and a Bar-Sto barrel on. When he's done there shouldn't be a single stock part on the gun. Afterwards I plan on getting Heinie sights installed, checkering on the frontstrap, and a few other odds and ends. Should be pretty cool for my first 1911

I'm saving up for a CZ-52, Romak-3, CZ-75B, and AR-15. The AR will likely be in pieces instead of an entire gun. Probably take me two or three years to afford it all too.

Make sure you don't have a kaboom and you have it headspaced correctly. Corks can be deadly if they become untethered. |

- Last week I finished a refurbish and de-AWB job on a buddy's CIA FAL
- Just finished refurbishing two Rhody FAL para lower/stock assembly's, one for sale and the other for a future project - I have 2 FAL paras projects about 80%, waiting for DCI receivers(15months), Grenadier Precision COPs(13 months) and Falcon Arms carriers - A FAL G-series clone about 80%, waiting for DCI receiver(again) - I need to finish threading a barrel and changing the gas block for an Izzyfied Imbel carbine - I finished parking the barrel and reassembling my AP-74 Commando conversion - Cutting and drilling the rivets disassembeling my two Romy AK kits - Waiting on a custom LPK for a AR carbine, using CMMG's LW 14.7" 1/7 - As I'm writing, I'm masking a cammo pattern on a C7 upper for an AR I'm altering and I have an even amount of ongoing car projects. |

I've been getting stuff for my 10/22 lately... and it's got me to thinking. Wouldn't it be fun to put together a .17 Mach2? I think I'm going to build one. That way I can put my 10/22 back to stock form and I won't have to hear my wife say "That doesn't even look like the gun I bought you for Christmas a year ago."

Whew....let's see:
Upgrading SP1A1 to full AR-15 status with a new proper front pin dimension lower. Doing the same with my SP2 Carbine Browning High Power has been modded and blasted. Just waiting for the Night Site cuts to get finished and then it's park and Duracoat time. Ordering full leather from Galco. Re-finishing the stock on my M1A Scout from Camo to Grey Possible, later this year mods: the Scout will be getting an LRB forged Reciever/Scout Barrel combo (CHROME LINED!!!) and the rack grade gun will be gettting just the Reciever.....there will FINALLY be NO Springfield Armory guns anywhere near my safe. ETA: here's a thread in the Armory on nearly the same subject. Some cool projects going on there, too. New Year's Firearms Resolution Threads |
