My baby is going to have to go.....my economic situation has dictated its removal from my collection.

Here we have a Shavik M-204 40mm (and so marked) grenande launcher on Title 1 (just like a rifle) transfer. The barrel is for sale BUT seperatly as putting them together makes it a Class III item.

Here's is the cool think....for the $1600.00 price tag, you also get the $250.00 Knight's QD mount (rare) and about $500.00 worth of 37 and 40mm rounds (the pic. just shows a sampling).....

Add everything up and you will see this is an INCREDIBLE deal!!!! Shipping is $15.00. Snooze you looose. Thanks & Merry Christmas.

I guess you can just ship 40mm rounds to anyone. And this was listed on the semi auto board.

If nobody finds out, you won't get arrested.

Hey.  You asked how?

I suppose it's just as safe as a pre81 unregistered DIAS.

I would assume they are all practice rounds.  I do believe actual 40mm grenades are DD's and require the tax stamp.

That type of launcher receiver is only a title 1 receiver, as long as it's not barreled. Assuming it was a destructive device at one time a letter needs to be sent to ATF removing it from the registry.  Due to the lack of destructive device dealers in many state Shivak will typically sleeve the 40mm barrel to 37mm unrifles making it just a title 1 flare launcher by a tack weld of the sleeve in the barrel. When you receive the title 1 launcher, you do a form 1 to turn it into a destructive device. Then you cut the sleeve and have a 40mm launcher.

Same situation as guns like the Handigun or Marble's Game-Getter without thier buttstock or smooth bore barrels the receiver is just a title 1 handguns, then do the form 1 as an AOW and start looking for an original buttstock or barrel set to finish the project.

If I was selling I would re-tack in the 37mm sleeve.

I was thinking of the 40mm rounds mostly. Wouldn't they be DDs?

I noticed the link won't work anymore.

I gotta ask though, is a BL&P round considered a DD?

Not sure about practice rounds.

The pic still works.

I don't see any DD rounds in there.

All legal like.....If I had the extra cash right now I'd snag this deal.

Not sure about practice rounds.

If the practice rounds just go *thud* and ONLY *thud* they are legal.  They ALWAYS must be inert.  No smoke or anything else.

What is really odd is that a friend of mine in Canada has an M203. He says the law stipulates muzzle velocity for legality.
He shoots the practice rounds through it.
