[ARCHIVED THREAD] - So I'm heading to Detroit to play in the Superbowl

Seatle Seahawks had an injury in their backfield so the coach who is friends with my good friend in south Florida asked me if I'd mind to play 2nd string running back. I was pretty good at H.S. football and they were in kind of a bind so I flew up today (Sat.) and am scheduled to dress for the game tomorrow at Ford Field.

I really don't expect to see much action but I'm studying the playbook just in case. Being that I'm 48 (almost 49) I don't quite have the speed and stamina I used to have but I'll give it my best.

So... if you watch the game Sunday, look for me on the bench. I'll be number 49 on the Seahawks side. Who knows, I might even get to mix it up on the field.

Funny thing the Stealers lost a lineman yesterday to the clap,and the coach is a friend of my sister(sister-in-law really) but said I should suit up for thi Sunday!!

I say nOOO way he of course says yes dude YOU!!

Course I'm 220 and 5'11 and sixty years old ,so I got permmision to bring my suppressed colt!!

Should be an interesting game ,look for me I will be the guy being escorted by the Federal marshalls in leg irons and hand cuffs!!!!
