I'm guilty of the same thing. I have 2 lowers that I bought for no reason. Have no clear idea of how I want to finish them out.
I threw one of the lowers together as a complete A2 lower. Thinking of making it a mid-lenght with A2 stock.
The Spikes Lower? I have no idea. Maybe another 6.8

What was the gunshow price for megas? Balistic Sounds sells them in the EE (or did, haven't checked lately) for cheap! Great to deal with too.

I have two stripped just sitting here, hoping my dad will want to build one with me (consecutive #s).

The Mega Upper seems to be a bit elusive at times though.

Oh, and have you seen the AR10 Mega lower? I *believe* I saw one at a gun show, but it may have been something else and my mind slipped.

Uppers were $130 and the lowers were $135

I had to stop myself from buying a lower (or two) at the last gun show. I specifically went to get defensive ammo and mags, and also know that I can't afford to be building more ARs right now - which I know I would start doing as soon as I had another lower. I can't let them sit like that for long.

I went to the gunshow this weekend to just look too.
I told 3-4 people that I never buy anything, I just like to see people I know and hang out.

I bought somewhere between $100 and $200 before I got to the table with M14 parts.
$884.00 later, I walked out of the show about a grand poorer.

I picked up a lower at the last show and put it together as an M4 lower. Don't know when I will finish it and I really don't know why I need it but I did it anyway.

3 younger girls were at the Austin show on Saturday. One of them is the one that is usually at all the shows I've seen CWS at. Owners wife, daughter? not real sure.
