I got a couple of nervous looks, but smiles from most folks. After casting my ballot for Bush/Cheney, I walked out to find a couple of Kerry supporters doing an informal exit poll. They asked me if I had a moment to speak to them. I said:

"Naw, I'm a Republican . . . I have to WORK for a living"

They then noticed the holster. Gun=Republican in this neck of the woods. Folks around me cracked up laughing . . . hopefully I just ruined the day of a couple of Kerry supporters.

I tell ya though, I felt great exercising two of my Constitutional rights at the same time.

Now all of you lazy bastards GET OUT AND VOTE!

Haven't made it out yet, waiting for MrGH and lilGH to wake up so we can go. rainy and yucky here.. bringing my umbrella.
I even sent an e-mail off to my brother and his wife and son, reminding them to get out and vote, being in PA they could help make the difference.

I'm in the office early today so I can go vote at 2. My wife was smart enough to vote early.

Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...

Good job!
I was at the polls 5 minutes after they opened, there were about 200 people in line!
I'll vote after work, when I'm not in a rush.

BUSH / CHENEY !

I'm going to strap on my biggest, most evil looking pistol and head on over to the polls in about an hour.

Should be fun.

Another armed citizen who votes for Bush!

In Texas its against the law to bring a firearm to a polling place (unless you are an LEO).

In Texas, you can't carry at or near a voting place.

I can't tote to the polling place, it is in an elementary school and I don't really want to do any time in "pound me in the a$$" penitentiary.

I Missouri we can't take arms within 25' of the polling place, so I left mine at home. I voted from my vehicle with a special handicap deal they have, so I thought that might not go well with the 25' rule.
