So I ordered an Acog TA31 ECOS from Botach on 11/18 for $1459 and I was charged and it hasn't shipped yet. I probably should have known better given their reputation here, but it was a good price. I sent them an email today requesting a refund if it was not in stock. I can only speculate where this is headed from here. Any suggestions on how to handle them or am I being too paranoid?
I received a shipping notification today (11/20) and feel relieved that I do not have to wait for a back ordered item while they hold my money. I will update after I receive the Acog. This may end up being a positive Botach story and I'll keep my fingers crossed. |

I guess cheap prices pay for bad customer service. It doesn't matter what your price is, it matters what your customer service is like. But in my experience I've been finding the cheapest prices and best customer service from the same company so it works out awesome. I'd just do something via my credit card to cancel out the transaction.

If 11/18/2011 you should probably ask for a refund. If it was yesterday, wtf?

What's it like to have way too much disposable income? Yes mine. First off, you bought an overpriced optic. Second, you did so from a company that many times has already shown to have shitty customer service. You knew this before you ordered but ordered anyway. Thus I can only conclude that you have so much money that you honestly don't care if someone steals it. Don't feel too bad though. I've ordered from them too and never received it. But, then again, I only spent $50 bucks ... |

SWFA 110% Low Price Guarantee, nuff said. Just contacted SWFA and their regular price was 1741.99. I'm not sure they will be able to beat $1459.99 plus 10%, but I will give it a try. If I don't hear back from Botach I will dispute the charge after the Acog does not arrive. |

give them a couple of days, i have had good luck with them so far. I did order some para mags a while back and after a couple days they emailed me and said they could not get my order and gave me a full refund

I got some M&P mags from them for $19.95 shipped. Recieved them 3 or 4 days after I ordered.
GL with your ACOG. |

I would say that Botach’s advertised price was very reasonable for the optic considering the MSRP was $2050. You have contributed nothing to this thread. |

At least BoTach generally does complete their orders even if it's late as hell, and there is an actual living being there to answer the phone unlike THESE FUCKING DOUCHEBAGS AT AFTACTICAL.COM WHO TRIED TO RIP ME OFF

I just ordered about $600 worth of things which took about a week longer than anywhere else, but the prices were worth it.
I've ordered 3 times from them without issue. My friend has ordered twice at least, and had no problems. I guess, I just wanted to give a variation on the prevailing wind of Botach. I might be burned next order, but at this point they have been nothing but good, and with better than most, prices. |

I've ordered from them before and it worked out OK. But your going to have to give them a few days, maybe more because of the holiday.

This is why you use the "chat" feature on the website to check the status of an item prior to purchase from Botach.

I see that you have the "entitlement" attitude. Jealous post is jealous. Maybe instead of bellyaching about other peoples' money, you could go get a job/second job. Serisouly guy, we don't give a shit. |

His post is about customer service. YOU dragged the inference that he has "too much" disposable income in. Too much for whom? You? Are you the disposable income police? Regale us with your qualifications to judge. |

I think the research should be complete prior to throwing down $1450. My Aimpoint came from Larue, didn't worry a second and got a pile of freebies.

Should have pushed a dull crayon into your eye, it will be less painful than dealing with those shitheads.

Apparently, you also think memberships on this site are overpriced. |
