I had a pistol that I really wasn’t shooting any more and decided to give it to a member of the family.  So I gave my S&W 915 in 9mm with 5 factory magazines to my pops.

My mother was not that happy about it though.  And this was the same woman used the family house as a back stop for a BB gun as a kid.  She put a hole in the front window and blamed her brother for it.  But I think she will live with it, plus it gives my folks a little bit more protection since the some of the apartments around the community where they live have gone to shit.

With a little more work I just might get him to buy an AR, but that might cause a divorce or his death.
