Holy shit. I wanted runzas tonight. So I used grandmas old recipe, which uses homemade bread. No sweat I think, if her 70 year old ass can do it I sure as hell can make bread.

My 27 year old ass is beat. Not literally mind you, but jesus I had no idea how much time and effort went into making a stupid runza.

But, the runza's and cinnamon rolls were really good.

And bonus for me, the wife was impressed enough she offered desert.
Pie is on the menu later.

I havn't had a runza in years, they are pretty good. We used to get the frozen bread dough and let it raise a little, then roll that out with a rolling pin. Then we would cook up the hamburger and cabbage and stuff the dough and cook them in the oven.

Ahhh, you took the easy way out.
I went homemade the whole way.

Kids did have a great time helping me knead the dough though. Every kid always wants to get elbow deep and play in their fod, today they got the chance.

Only white bread.
Dark bread is acceptable.

Actually, after the game it's time for Amigos. Crisp meats and soft tacos.
