Old Painless' Tiger striping thread got me wanting to do my M4 like that.  Since this weekend it got a new BUIS, Stock, and FH it had to be painted anyway.  As I was getting ready to do it, I realized that as great as those 1911's looked, I had to be different.  So I did this, and it works great.  I'm on dial up so this is all I'm uploading tonight, when i get to some place that has Wi-Fi I'll post a bunch more of it, and it out in the woods and grass.

Did you learn how to do that by watching Martha Stewart's sponge painting show?

JK looks really nice...kinda like the Bismarck.

I was thinking that myself.  The first time I painted it some people said that it really reminded them of some of our WW2 camo.  Guess the German in me came out

I like it.  Looks like the old naval 'camo' they used to use to try and make it hard to judge how far away they were.  Not too overwhelming either.  Fits perfectly.
