I refuse to shoot one, the Garand gave me enough fever for an M1A. Shooting an actual M1A will send me over the edge, and the base model just won't be enough.

Sweet shooting rifle. Being lefty, it presents a couple challenges, but I really like shooting mine.
For static defense (roof top, etc), there are few rifles that would be better suited. |

I have fallen in love with the M1A. I have two and working on a third. The only downside is weight (for some people), as far as I can tell.
