I got a nice tasty sampler box of assorted meats and cheeses from the New Braunfels Smokehouse in New Braunfels, Texas. [^]

I recieved 2 Wilson power mags. I love them, and they showed me what good mags were like, not the crappy mags I've been using.

Striker must had some inside info but I have no idea where he got it.
He gave me a mag loader and a brass catcher...I've been needing one for a couple Viet era replicas I built. They have no brass deflector and I shoot left. |

My exchange partner and I actually didn't do firearm stuff. Gloftoe did an EXCELLENT job. I got a totally awesome looking Harley T-Shirt from the Austin, TX dealership. Couldn't have asked for better! Thanks Glof!

How does one participate in the exchange program, are there any official rules?
Informally, I gave someone a KAC rail mount front flip sight, and I got some cool personal gifts back - an "Operation Enduring Freedom" Kandahar coin, $1000 Afganis currency bill, and a CD with cools pics and movies. I am proud to say, I have given three ARF members gifts this year, unsolicited. One gun accessorie (mentioned above), some very special Alaskan beer (took a lot of effort on that one), and money to replace some gifts for someone who had some a-hole steal his kids Christmas presents. I feel like one of Santa's little helpers. I also just asked to be able to contribute to any future ARF raffles. I'm on a Karma roll... |

Searcherfortruth sent me a book called The Deadliest Men, The World's Deadliest Combatants throughout the Ages, which profiles such people as Jim Bowie, Audie Murphy, Geronimo, Bat Masterson, etc. And his son drew me 2 pictures of the scene in the manger, which were very sweet!

The LULA DavidC sent has gotta be the handiest little gadget for an AR owner I've ever seen! I can't believe nobody thought of the thing before. I used it and the ammo to finally get my carbine zeroed.

Very happy with my Gerber pocket folder. It's a little more subtle then my AR15.com M-16. I also got a T-shirt from the Skydive City chute and shoot. CP also sent me pics of the US womens 4 member sky diving team [:p] and the Golden Falcons team. |

I got a great bottle of high-end Peppermint Schnapps from the sanctioned gift exchange. The schnapps is the shizznit for my cold-weather activities (skiing and golf) and a full flask has been added to my BOB! I sent a bottle of the Glenlivet 12 year-old to Tweak, the mail held it up until after Christmas, but I think he will enjoy it none the less.
Backstop and I had an unofficial gift exchange as he and I were paired in the original exchange and we have kept the dream alive. I got a couple of 47D's from Wilsons....and a personalized AR15.com golf shirt! I sent him a tricked out knife he had found and really wanted. Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!
