I would definately try that course on a sled or skis but not a board. Way too uncoordinated for that.

That's funny, I think snowboarding is MORE stable and safer than skiing.

They dont look anyway graceful like the skiers when then take the jumps. The windmilling arms crack me up. They should give them clubs to take the other boarders out.

Its NOT "snowboard cross" ...its called "border cross."

And from the name, you'd think Mexicans would be good at it.

Oh man - I slay myself. I been waitin' all day to use that one.

A goofy little sport started 26 yrs ago +/-. Now, an Olympic event, whoda thunk?

Did Shaun Palmer make the team this year?

to hear them call it snowboardcross...now it's driving me nuts...

I was going to start entering into amat. boardercross races last year but never had the time... i moved to az.. and there is NO snow and I dont have time to go to colorado, utah or sierras for races.

it is FUN.

I might try again next season too!

I think they do that on purpose to get back onto the snow quicker. Minimize airtime increases speed. Good sutff.
