Um, guns and alcohol do not mix, unless you're using the alcohol as a cleaning solvent.

Vodka and Pop Tarts?? Is that wise?? Refer to this thread: http://ar15.com/forums/topic.html?id=133186

I'd say that's true, for the average hillwilliam. However, what AR15.com'er doesn't enjoy an adult beverage on a weekend night while holding, stroking or just fondly regarding one of the 'children' on the coffee table? Just use some sense.

You should stay away from those pop tarts. And get yourself a bottle of bourbon.

Poptarts are good, but.... To much carbs and fat for what it is. I don't care where the F'in Vodka is made, ITS STILL VODKA!!! Grab yourself a nice bottle of whiskey, and much on some salad, and call it a night!

You mean that I am not supposed to chug vodka and play with my loaded guns? That's news to me....hic-hic! MAHABALI, back in 1994 the Akademik Fedorov showed up at the pier at McMurdo Station in Antarctica. I met up with the aircrew from the helicopter, and I took them drinking at one of the clubs. We ended up in one of the lounges in the dorms, so I pulled out my two of my emergency bottles of 1800 Jose Cuervo. Between three of us and four of them we finished off them off in less than an hour, one shot at a time. One of them made his way back to the ship can returned with three bottles of this Pepper Vodka. I have no clue if it was made from "torpedo juice" or what, it was smooth going down but DAYMN - about 20 seconds after the first shot my eyes were watering. It was just like eating really hot salsa, the stuff that sneaks up on your after 20 seconds or so. We drank up two of them and I traded my last emergency bottle of 1800 for this stuff. I used to work with a bunch of Russian engineers and they said no self-respecting Russian would drink Russian vodka. They preferred Smirnoff by a long shot. That being said, I still like Stoli. But the Smirnoff blue label is still my favorite.
