If this is legit it sounds like this has been an ongoing problem. Meaning it's not a recent terrorist attack.

This sounds a little fishy. That being said the CDC (Center for Disease Control) has said nothing about an outbreak. According to their website there has not been a "natural" case of [i]Variola virus[/i] since 1977. They haven't updated their site since June 3 though.

Unless I hear it from a more credible source than DAWN, I'm betting it's measles. There are a couple of other poxes that can cause similar symptoms in humans, too, IIRC.
