Or is it too early to tell?

Just curious if this is having any immediate effect on the economy...

It can't get much worse than it already is.

I'm talking about the rest of the country, obviously sales in NOLA are going to be pretty bad

Just wonding if this has caused people to panic a little and hold onto their wallets.

Well as of this morning I re-priced my services at + 10% across the board I hesitated to but thats the cost of doing biz. I waited until now and sucked it up all summer but just can't any longer

+1
In MD here. Sales have always been down this time of year. But they have never been this low before. I may be out of a job if it doesn't pick up soon.

That is another problem for NO. The loss of revenue will kill the city. The Fed .gov will have to just GIVE them massive amounts of cash.

As far as my business......it is too early to tell. I expect it to continue to be very good as long as new exploration is going on here in the Ark-la-tex.

Sales have been slow since January of 2003.

Katrina hasn't impacted us yet.

I'm sure I'll see a boom in demand for splines and window glazing beads.

Hopefully we will also get orders for weather mouldings and corner forms like crazy.

Too bad in February we lost our biggest cooler maker They're will be a demand for new refridgeration coolers in grocery stores.
