Apologies for the downtime today as there were a number of updates and changes which needed to go in.

The forums are back to a 3500 character limit, please deal with it, the forums are for discussion and not the posting of large documents and/or technical references. There should be a nice boost to site speed during the high traffic times.

The Article Engine is complete and is only awaiting the content from the old site before we make it live... hopefully sometime this week.

Product review section is also nearing completion and looking very promising. Expect that in the coming weeks.

There are a few server issues which are unrelated to the code which are being addressed...

Code changes minimized server calls and usage, so trust me, its not the code.

Thanks to all the folks that have the patience to put up with the occassional problems. Rest assured we're always doing everything we can to make this place better, not worse.

At the completely opposite extreme: David Hineline, thanks for your qualified and expert advice. Since you are obviously the owner and technical director of this site, we will do exactly as you said just as quickly as possible. We appreciate your willingness to help, your patience, and your support. Rest assured we will act on your demands ASAP.

As I said, strange happenings on the servers... Looks like some gremlins got in to cause a little trouble and have now been erradicated.

We'll keep an eye on the server to make sure things are back to normal.
