Ok, I know that a lot of members here are SiriusXm subscribers, I was myself for four years. I don't need to know if it is a good value in general, it isn't, which is why I went from four receivers to zero, and was happy to do so.
I am not a huge fan of the service anymore, but it looks like I will have to bite the bullet and reactivate at least one radio.
It took me several calls, continuing to be billed for several months after canceling, and major headaches to get rid of them, and it galls me that I am now pretty much crawling back.
When I canceled I was offered a deal to keep one radio active with the Sirius Premier service for $50 for one year, I turned it down. Since canceling all service I have been contacted just about every day by their sales drones offering me the $50 for a year deal with no activation. So I plan on using that promotion for the first year.
My questions are about the Ala Cart choose 50 plan for $6.99 a month. I am not really worried abut the ability to listen online. I am only concerned with about ten channels, all of them music, none of them premium.
Does anybody here subscribe to this option? Does it require a certain model radio (I have an XM EZexpress and three Sirius Starmate4)? Are there any caveats to this type of service? Do you feel you are getting better value than the Mostly Music option for $9.99 a month? How about compared to the Premier package?
