We argued this a while ago.

We all generally agreed. She was a bitch. He was a dick.

Total fucking Nazi. She was a bitch but she had a right to be a bitch when the cop fucked her over and pulled this Nazi shit for no reason. Could any one of you just walk behind a counter like that and spray someone for no fucking reason? then lock them up?

That was total bull shit.

Since I haven't started an argument in a while . . .

Yes you have.

No I haven't.

You have to.

Have not.

Yes you have.

This isn't an argument. It's simple contradiction of what ever the other person says.

No it isn't.

I don't think the young lady was a bitch, at all.

To be falsely accused of theft is a VERY BIG DEAL...and this officer was just a huge prick...and wrong, as well.

+1!

The officer should have been fired!

To be honest, up to a point I really thought it was going to be a prank someone was pulling on her. I could not believe the cop maced her. Not to mention saying he was arresting her without telling her what the charge was. If she was being a bitch for telling the truth and resisting what I would consider an illegal act by the police officer, then I guess I would be a prick, too, because I'm pretty sure I would have put up at LEAST that much resistance. I probably would have verified that it was no joke and then it would have gotten ugly - fast.

the officer should've been indicted

All that over $10??

Only $60,000?? She was assaulted and robbed!!

And of course, the cop went home safely........and with his job intact.

Of course what would have happened if she'd just calmly complied? The officer might even have decided that it was an honest mistake. If I were in his position, I'd probably have done something similar, but if she hadn't been a "fuck you because you're the police" about it, I would've considered the possibility that I'd made a mistake or she'd made an honest mistake. Her being so anti-police about it probably aggravated him and convinced him further that he'd been intentionally shortchanged. Accidental is one thing, intentional is something I'd get pissed off over.

But hey, it's totally the police's fault that her brother was in jail, and she was rightfully upset.

She calmly complied until the officer said get in the car and come downtown.

He was wrong and she was right.

But since when are American citizens supposed to be lickspittals for the absolute lowest common denominator of police officers?

Sorry, but that shiite don't play in a Republic.

Tell the officer to go downtown himself and swear out his own complaint!

Then we'll see what happens.

Then your jurisdiction would be forking over the $60K!

That's fine, as I'm certain your town's check would clear just as easily as Canton's did!

Boo, hoo, hoo.

The police officer wasn't respected in the manner he thought proper!

But hey, it's totally the police's fault that her brother was in jail, and she was rightfully upset.

I'd look into her brother's case while I was at it!

after a proper trial, of course. He never should have attempted to use his public authority to address what he thought was a wrong suffered by him personally. Abuse of authority should be a capital offense, and failing that, it would be a wholesome thing - while not a thing I advocate - if someone beat that rotten bastard bad enough to cripple him and make him shit through a hose for the rest of his vile life.

ETA: watched it again. He deserves to die.
