As I read the list I was checking it off as relates to recent news that corresponded. Then I though "if it was really bad would I be aware of these newsworthy events?"

Edit:
Not saying it isn't really bad, it is; but at least there is still some free media, and hope.

Have these news stories told you the truth about the subject events?

Really?

If not, they do not qualify as news.

This. There is no question of if we currently live in a tyranical state, the question is the populous willing to go now?

My bet is on the answer further down the same path. Just wait until the .gov tells you you can't order pizza because you're too fat. It's coming and Obamacare is paving the way.

Can we do something about it already?

So according to this we have been in a state of tranny since the 1920's.

......
Link Posted: 9/8/2013 10:55:44 AM EDT

It's met the definition of tyranny since at least 1929, and Presidents and Congress critters were breaking rules and abandoning the constitution WAYYYYY before that.

Stand up for liberty and justice for all? Ain't nobody got time for dat. It's football season son!

Doubt it. Not in our lifetime anyways. Our children will inherit this. The 30+ years I've been around I keep hearing that shit's going to hit the fan here in the next year. Been hearing that now since I've been in adult. This is a slow process.

Read the post above. I somewhat mention that. The people still enjoy their 2nd amendment. However people will eventually want to vote based on emotion and will vote their rights away. Like I said. Probably not in our lifetime.

No Sir, I firmly believe that it will happen in our lifetime.

I like how Syria--which was sort of a distraction in itself--got beat out by Tokyo trending because of the Olympics in 2020.  No one gives a fuck about anything.

We need to drink more... Then the courage will flow. Just as our forefathers did. Sheeit, John Adams alone polished off 2 jugs of cider before noon everyday.   I just spent 3 weeks over in Australia & Japan. I dreaded coming back here... The no sales tax & lack of Police presence merely everywhere were my favorite parts.. Oh yea, people were nice! Imagine that.

Lock it up gents. I'm tired of waiting too...

I agree that we must and unlike an uninterested girl, we can't just move on.

The problem seems to be that people are inherently selfish and want to know what's in it for them.

If there's war that brings the promise of safety, if there's free shit it brings the promise of...free shit.

Going all 1776 on people with tri corner hats while commendable brings nothing other than the promise of uncertainty.

People a.) Don't like to go outside their comfort zones and b.) want something that benefits them from some sort of change.

Telling someone that if they don't work as hard or aren't as smart as someone else means they can get fucked in this bad economy isn't a good sell.

Think like a salesman and I'm sure a solution can be found...or just prepare your anus for DHS/WWIII/FEMA/.gov/Obamatron

Recycled garbage.  Yeah things will get worse, but if you think every tyrannical government ever went full throttle when checks started running out you're wrong.

the collapse is going to be financial. only when people cant get food will things change....

things have to get much much worse before it's possible for them to get better. unfortunately, that's the way it is.

freedom must be guarded like a precious jewel. and the watchmen have been snoozing for 100 years now...

When they have guns you have to give them the illusion of freedom. You let them keep the guns and regulate them to death.

Our liberties and freedoms have been seriously eroded by government regulation and social engineering over the last few decades.
It is happening at an accelerated pace in the last few years.
And people see it happening and still deny it is occurring.

But it's a soft, cuddly type of tyranny. Not a meany one like Assad's.

We're going to have to fight our way out of this one way or the other. Either by the ballot box or the ammo box. There are no other options and the ballot box hasn't been very effective. I damn sure don't want to resort to the ammo box if it can be helped.  We need strong people to elect at the ballot box.  We're starting to see some of that now.  I think a lot is riding on 2014 and 2016.

The point is that they use that tactic to call us kooks etc..that is classic Alinsky tactics.  We can counter it.  Read Alinsky.  Obama did.
