...From this review. Trigger from very good to very bad. Metal taken off from the slide and left bare naked.

Lol.

Sig please.

Yet some here still defend them. I was willing to give them a chance when it was discovered that they lied. Had they come clean and said "quit using your pistols until we fix them, they aren't safe" I would be buying a P320.

But they lied, covered it up, then are still saying it's an "upgrade". Fuck Sig, Fuck Ron Cohen.

Glad I held off. I'm not sure what they could do to make me ever buy one now
Link Posted: 8/22/2017 4:23:01 PM EST
Not defend Sig, but are you sure that's legit? Seems awfully quick turnaround time.

*Currently carrying a G19.

I haven't even gotten an email yet giving instructions to send it in and I filled out the recall form a week ago.

So they "won" the "testing" based on a good trigger that wasn't actually drop safe and now they have a shitty trigger that may be?

Cohen is the MAN for making crap.
Link Posted: 8/22/2017 4:27:32 PM EST
Sigh.

F them

I'll stick with CZ

the military ones have been added to the upgrade? They were original exempt.

Springfield XD-S recall redux, but without a recall, direction to cease use, the corporate responsibility, or the proactive concern for owner's safety.

I wanted a P320 Target since 2016 Shot. I just sold my P320C two weeks ago and got a VP9T instead. I'll just hold out for the VP9L now.

Despite Springfield paying lobbyist fucktards to fuck over their competition in IL, they actually have good customer service.

Unlike Sig.

This.

I will reserve final judgement untill I see some Arfcom members post about their experience with the upgrade.

I question the legitimacy, but if it turns out to be real that's not good.
Link Posted: 8/22/2017 4:49:47 PM EST
This has probably been answered

And may be a stupid question

But do Apex triggers solve the problem? Are they drop safe?

That may be a whole lot cleaner way of dealing with this.

Pretty sure Apex said their trigger does not solve anything.

Went to a new to me gunshop and held one about a month ago. Felt good, trigger was awesome and pointed very good.... nearly bought it on the spot if it weren't for the big purchase I was doing.

Bare stainless steel inside the slide is a problem?

They'll work the trigger out and it will be fine but I'll stick with G19 and Sig P22x
Link Posted: 8/22/2017 5:04:21 PM EST
The correct P320 fix comes in a Glock 19 box.

Apex did the right thing by doing a buy back when the problem came to their attention unlike other trigger mod manufacturers.

I had a p320c, it was my first Sig as well. Sold it a couple weeks ago for a loss to wipe my hands of it.

Apex's conduct stands in stark contrast to Sig.

Apex is about the only company involved in this Monumental Cock-Up that will come out better reputationally speaking, monetarily less so but reputationally no one can fault them for their actions. Certain others will not do so well.

Sig is suppose to start sending the emails on September 15.

The army guns are not being upgraded because they already come with the new striker and thumb safety.

The upgrade is just changing over to the new striker and adding a disconnect. If you believe sig, an upgrade that has been planned for some time.

I have and shoot glocks and I like and shoot the p320. I like both gun types. Each has pluses and minuses, glocks take down procedure and trigger tab are a minus. The p320 is the drop issue. Both solved with proper safe gun handing.

The upgrade is really a nonissue with me, yes I am having it done, and I am not picky on the trigger as long as it has a consistent sear release point.

No one drops their gun on purpose. Why WOULDN'T it be an issue?

I love mine, especially the compact .45, and will after the "upgrade". My #3 daughter shoots the shit out of it.
