Going to get my house resided soon - has old Asbestos siding.

I may not stay long in this house, but who knows - I might.

What would your recs be?  Currently house has 1/2 brick veneer in front and sides, back is 1/2 block.  Rest is the asbestos.  Will also be getting all windows replaced at the same time.

I sort of like the idea of going brick siding but if vinyl, aluminum, or other would be better, cheaper, last longer, lower maintenance, I'd consider that.

My house is all brick with  some vinyl . If I had to do it over again(like when a big storm blows off the vinyl), I would use that hardie lap siding like I did when I built my carport. In fact if I was to build another house I may do the whole house in hardie siding because I really like the look of a wood lap siding house without the problems of wood (fire, termites, blistering paint, etc) or vinyl(wind blowing it off). A good paint job will last 15 years or you can change colors any time you want if you like to paint.
