I'm under 30 and also not a rapper, but happen to like not having to rely on a cell phone battery or whip out my talkbox every time I want to see the time.

Except with a tan 550 cord strap I made while deployed.  I hope this thing never fails because I am a bit attached to it.

Got it in 1985 - Seiko Chronograph Sports 100.  My folks bought it for me when I finished high school.  It's survived me serving in the infantry with it. It's survived me SCUBA diving with it.  It's been to five continents with me.  In the 30 years I have worn it, i've had it refurbished once by Seiko (at a cost of $60).

It's an awesome watch.

That's awesome! $60?!

I got my first Seiko a couple months ago and love it. Have a few more I've been looking at and should be ordering one or two more here pretty soon.
