Only if to the victors go the spoils. Unless we are getting oil, etc it is a waste of our time doing anything than turning it into glass.

Our dollar is worth more because the saudis insist on selling oil only for dollars, they won't accept any other form of currency. In return, we use our military to protect their interests. Definitely not what I consider a constitutional use of our military. |

For a not well educated dude you're doing better than most.
Yes they're assholes. Yes, many are religious lunatics. Yes, their gov's are run by fuck heads. But why would Americans go into that shithole to die? The only outcome of war in the ME that could be remotely positive is to genocide everyone there. And that means killing millions of non-asshole, non-religious lunatics, while thousands of Americans die. Why? Maybe when they start landing on the East coast, sure declare war and wipe them out. Until then, better shit to spend money and lives on almost anywhere. |
