I wouldnt. My wife bought me one for my birthday one year. Biggest piece of shit I have ever owned. Had read in G&A many times how it was the most reliable .22 pistol ever made

I owned it for over two years, never ran a whole mag through it without a jam. Called berretta a few times, was told at first break it in, then try different ammo, then it was a mag issue, and they offered to sell me a new mag

Bought the new mag, it was even worse. Traded that fucker in on a taurus PT-22 that was 100% and basicly the same pistol, except for being DAO.

I wouldnt take it if you gave it to me and $50.

I had one of those with plastic grips. They are a good little plinker. Might be nice to throw in your pocket as a last chance gun, in case you are wrestling with an attacker and you need to put a few holes in him.

I have one.  Paid $200 for it, plus the price of having the barrel threaded for a Gemtech Outback II.  If I could have gotten it threaded for that price I would have.  OTOH, if you are not going to put a suppressor on it, or if it's the cheesy aftermarket barrel with the wrong thread pitch for real suppressors, then $200 is OK, but no big bargain.  I only paid $200 for mine because it was a friend in financial trouble.

That's an expensive price.  Used they go for 150.  They're not really worth that much, for good reason.

Is that the Beretta that later became the Tomcat model?  The one where the barrel tips up?
