Can a Remington pistol-grip folding stock be (legally) installed on a PUMP shotgun with a full length mag tube?

The law prohibits pistol grips on semi's with >3 capacity only, right?  Doesn't apply to pumps?

Pump shotguns do not apply to the assault weapons bill.  

So, as long as you don't have any state or local laws saying NO you are okay.
