I'm thinking of buying an old shotgun and I was wondering if any of you could give me any info on it.  It is a double barrel, side by side 12ga.  It has double triggers, and external hammers.  On the receiver, it says:

Worcester, Mass
PATD MAY 18'97  <----  I am unsure about this line...it's very hard to read.

I can't find a serial number on it, but there is some sort of marking on top of the barrel that I can't read.  Oh yeah...don't know if this is relevant, but it has ejectors too.
